     - first few lines of Milton's Paradise Lost

1.        These passed, if any pass, the void profound
2.        Of unessential night receives him next,

MILTON (Memory Loss)

MILTON (Memory Loss), 2015. 10" x 10". Acrylic, gesso, and pencil  on canvas.

1.        So many grateful altars I would rear
2.        Of grassy turf, and pile up every stone
3.        Of luster from the brook, in memory,
4.        Or monument to ages; and thereon
5.        Offer sweet-smelling gums, and fruits, and flowers:
6.        In yonder nether world where shall I seek
7.        His bright appearances, or foot-step trace?
